Did you know what is transition means???

From what had I learnt in class,TRANSITION SIGNALS in reading are words or phrases which are used to show how ideas are linked.Transition signal also directly tell the reader the logical relationship between one idea an another idea.Transition also are words that make your writing more coherent.They create connection between one clause and another clause,one sentence and another sentence and one group of sentences to another group of sentences.

There are many words that can be used as transition signal such as,HOWEVER ( tells the reader that the logical relationship between the two ideas is contrast.)FURTHERMORE ( to join to independent clauses is with a semicolon, a transition and a comma.) IN FACT ( tell the reader the logical relationship between two sentences)
There are many TRANSITION TYPES that I learnt in class..Here I got it from slide in class..

For relationship to addition The example are moreover.furthermore,besides and in addition.
For relationship to reinforcement or emphasis, the example are indeed or in fact.
For relationship to exemplification.The example are for example, for instance, in particular.
For relationship to contrast such as however,in contrast and on the other hand.
For result or effect,the example are thus,hence.therefore and others.
Lastly for time we use meanwhile,subsequently and thereafter.

Hye  there, today my class had a wonderful day during our Bel 120 class...
Today Miss Zu had told us to act musical from the task that we choose..
My group got to act for blood donation at the shopping complex.
Many song that we use to make it funny but have a massage regarding what we are acting for.
Here are character from our scene.Faiq as a doctor,me and Fiza as a nurse,Su,Sem,and Linda as a customer.
We try to ask their kind to make some donation.At the beginning they do not want to,but at last they want.There are many funny scene that we act in this task and I really enjoy it..

After we discuss what we want to present in front of the class, we made a decision to act a sister left her little sister after she married.After we are done,the others will try to guess what situation that we act about. It was fun and exciting because I got new thing for that day...

Thesis STAtement

According to Miss ZU, THESIS STATEMENT is a complete sentence that contains one main idea and this statement is not in a question form.It's also contains sub points that use different word with same meaning on body paragraph.Consistency also must have in writing and thesis statement usually at the end of the introduction.We also can states  an opinion or attitude in our thesis statement.One more important thing, a fact cannot be thesis statement.

HYE there,meet me again for my next reflection regarding to what I had learnt in class..It's about pre-writing..

let's just go straight to the point ya...

Miss Zu had teach us that pre-writing is a techniques that can form a complete essay..There are two techniques that I learnt.First is BRAINSTORMING.What can I share with you is through this techniques we can gathering a list of ideas spontaneously. Brainstorming also is an informal way of generating topics to write about,or points to make about your topic.It can be done at any time during the writing process.

Next is clustering or we called it mind maping.I'm sure that all of you know what it is.A mind map is a diagram used to represent words, ideas, tasks, or other items linked to and arranged around a central key word or idea. Mind maps are used to generate, visualize, structure, and classify ideas, and as an aid to studying and organizing information, solving problems,making decisions, and writing.(copy from Wikipedia).

Do you know what is SINGULAR POSSESSIVE NOUNS is....

Here....I want to share with you about it.One thing that you must remember about possessive pronouns is you must add an apostrophe and an 'S' to a singular noun to make it possessive.

Example, if you want to story about web...you can determine what web that you mention in your story such as spider's web...That was example for possessive noun..

When a plural noun ends with 'S' add an apostrophe.This is called PLURAL POSSESSIVE NOUNS.Some example are babies' strollers or students teacher.

But when a plural noun does not end with 'S' add an apostrophe and an 'S'...

The example is THE WOMAN'S EYES ARE BROWN or THE MICE'S FUR IS BLACK.

LastLy,I will talk about reciprocal,interrogative and other pronouns....

Ok...Lets move on to reciprocal pronouns...reciprocal pronouns is expresses a relationship between the individuals indicated in the plural subject.

Example:

• Two boys fought with each other

(EACH OTHER refer to reciprocal pronouns)

For your information,one another also is one of the example of reciprocal pronouns.

NEXT,I move on to interogative Pronouns...This type of pronouns are used to ask questions.The words who,whose,what,which and whomare interrogative words. Some examples are:

2. Whose are these clothes?
3. What does Naiem want??

How about if I pick demonstrative pronouns.....Do you know what it is???
Demonstrative pronoun are used for pointing out things.The words this,that,these and those are demonstrative products.

Some of the examples:These are my pens

                                   That is my boyfriend's house


My next point is about indefinite pronouns......Indefinite pronouns does not refer directly to any other word.Most indefinite pronouns express he idea of quantity.

Example for my above statement are......

• Everybody is welcoome at the party
• Many prefer their tea with milk
• Does anybody care for the cheese cake??

Lets go through for our lesson today about reflexive pronouns...

As usual,I will tell you the definition about this type of pronouns.Reflexive pronouns are words that refers to the noun or pronoun that is the subject of the verb.The word MYSELF,YOURSELF,HIMSELF,HERSELF,ITSELF,OURSELVES,YOURSELVES and THEMSELVES are reflexive pronouns.
